Subject of activity of the inspection body

The subject of activity of the IO SVV Praha is to carry out inspections in the field of welding and brazing of metal materials with a focus on the determination and qualification of welding and brazing procedures of metal materials according to ČSN EN ISO 15607 and related standards.

This activity is carried out on the basis of the approved inspection procedure IP IO SVV Praha No.1, in accordance with the standard ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17020, which sets out the criteria for bodies carrying out inspection and in accordance with the relevant methodological guidelines for accreditation.

The SVV Praha inspection body is an external independent testing body/testing organisation within the meaning of ČSN EN ISO 15607. At the same time, it carries out tests of welders according to ČSN EN ISO 9606-X and operators according to ČSN EN ISO 14732 in the CWS ANB system with CIA accreditation.
