Welded Joint Inspector – Practical Training in the VT Method
Intended for: technical inspection personnel, welding shop supervisors, welding supervision staff, employees of companies engaged in the production and repair of welded structures
Content: NDT – visual inspection of welds (VT), requirements of standards: ČSN EN ISO 17637, ČSN EN ISO 6520-1, ČSN EN ISO 5817, weld defects, equipment and tools for visual inspection, practical evaluation of samples, preparation of VT reports, practical exercises
Output document: Certificate of seminar completion, which for holders of NDT personnel certification serves as proof (2 credits) of successful fulfillment of the structured credit system requirements according to Annex C of ISO 9712
Training of Design Staff According to Regulation ČD V95/5 Amendment 6, Including Examination
Intended for: designers of railway rolling stock and their components, to meet the requirements of regulation ČD V95/5 amendment 6 for designer qualification
Content: Basic and additional materials for railway rolling stock (designation system, chemical and mechanical properties, examples of use, requirements according to ČSN EN 10204), specific requirements of EN 15085-3, 6 and ČD V95/5 amendment 6, representation of welded joints in drawings, DVS 1612 and DVS 1608 requirements, practical tests in the railway sector, final test for designers
Output document: Certificate of qualification examination for designers according to ČD V95/5 amendment 6 (valid for three years)
Training for Technologists and Designers of Welded Structures
Intended for: designers and technologists of companies manufacturing and repairing welded structures
Content: Selection of structural materials, weld design – general principles (static and dynamic loading), weld sizing with respect to material thickness, weld symbols according to ČSN EN ISO 2553, designation of base and filler materials according to ČSN and EN
Output document: Certificate of training completion

Preparation for the OOZ-S Examination According to Regulation ČD V95/5
Intended for: welding technologists and welding personnel involved in welding railway rolling stock for ČD a.s.
Content:
Day 1 (9:00 – 15:00): Legislation, railway welding (ČD V95/5), technical materials (ČSN EN 10204), welding materials (types, properties, gases, applications)
Day 2 (8:00 – 14:00): Interpretation of EN 15085 standards, welding procedure qualification, welding technologies, preparation for the OOZ examination
Output document: Certificate of seminar completion
Recommended duration: 2 training days
Course for NDT Personnel VT2dw According to ČSN EN ISO 9712 + Qualification Examination
Intended for: inspectors, supervisors, technologists, welding supervision personnel performing visual inspection of welded products
Content: Basics of optics, VT inspection methods, equipment, weld inspection, defects, documentation, gauges, ISO 9712 requirements, practical evaluation
Examination details: Four parts – general test (40 questions), specific test (20 questions), practical test (2 samples), preparation of instruction sheet. Minimum 70% required in each part
Output document: NDT personnel certificate VTdw2, with option for PED 2014/68/EU approval
