About us

SVV Praha, s.r.o. was established on August 28, 1992.

In addition to the privatization of the Welding School in Krč, the company gradually expanded its activities in the field of material joining, personnel training, as well as inspection and certification services.

For the training and testing of welders and the education of higher-level welding personnel, additional activities were gradually adopted from colleagues at SLV Hannover (a co-founder of the company), particularly in the area of certifications according to DIN 18800-7 and, a few years later, also for the railway industry according to the DIN 6700 standard.

Alongside activities within the DIN standards system, in cooperation with SLV Hannover and later with the entire GSI Group, national accreditations for certification activities as well as authorizations for personnel training within the EWF/IIW education system were also obtained.
